When do I harvest this White Widow? Getting cold in Northern IL. How long?

@ mjizzle ..weather.com is actually pretty reliable ..more reliable than local weather forecasts on the news i have found...hope you are right@sunbiz

yea but no one can predict the weather 100% its reliable becuase you can log on anytiem and check it but like i checked it 4 days ago or somthing...and it said friday was gonna get down to 32 which is kinda wory some....now it says 36... and all summer i used it for fishing and alot of times when its calling rain for the night I would wait untill the night and recheck it and the rain would move down to later and later. But any way its a good tool.
 
yeah man as long as you dont have a sudden 2 weeks of rain like me i think they have a good while to go, as long as it dosent frost

and you never know, u may get some purple outa tthat cold weather up there ;)
 
i got most of the big ones staked today, going to have to finish tomorrow..hopefully none get taken down tonight..gettin real windy now..i used conduit..comes in ten foot lengths @ 1.82 a piece at home depot

Too late for that here, any damage will be repaired tomorrow. Fortunately there is a huge tree line just to the north...just gotta hope for the best.
 
im pretty sure the white hairs always turn brown as the flowering stage progresses.

as for the weather i doubt them temps will hurt your plant but if you want to be safe bag em at night.

i wouldnt yank yet them buds definatly got a little bit of time to go, they will start to fatten up quicker now tho.

i started using a 10-52-10 MG plant food on mine and it seems to be helping alot.

do you duct tape and stake em to repair? this wind is nasty i know the ones that i could not stake are getting beat up bad

I have special velcro tape that can be adjusted, haven't used it since hurricane Wilma 6 years ago before moving back north. Duct tape works fine after veg state. I also bring cotton swabs and a bit of honey to dress any wounds(antibacterial properties and a good consistency), then thoroughly cover with repair tape etc. The wind has shifted to the NW, so now they're protected. If the damage is severe, then I stake and twine as well.
