hey everyone! i cut my plant down just over 48 hrs ago and she's been hanging in tact in 77deg 45% rh for the duration. I just started the 3rd round of trimming and i feel like it's impossible to hang all these up! Is it ok to put them in jars and just open a few min a day? or do i have to hang em back up? the outside is a little crispy but some of them are still pretty moist. please help i don't want mold!!

you should let them hang for 3-7 days depending on how fast they dry, then you can put them in jars for no longer then 12 hrs at a time and opening them for 10-60 minutes a day to get a lil fresh air. do that for about 1-2 weeks and you can keep them in the jar and they will get better with time.

I know i know it just stinks!! I was trying to conceal... so wait until the stems snap? correct? What do i do with the smaller ones that I already cut off the stem? I cant hang them

If they are dry on the outside, jar em. If they are still too wet, put em on a tray or a plate.

you can dry them out doing the papwer bag method. i guess that would be sufficient until you can jar them.

put about 3-4" of bud in a non bleached paperbag, leave it open, and rotate the buds every few hours to prevent mold. then jar and cure.

If some are still moist just let them all hang longer. 48hrs is not very much time at all to dry and assuming you speant at least 8 weeks to flower them you wouldn't want to screw it up now over a couple of days would you?

well i let it go another 24 and they seemed almost too dry! The stems were still not snapping but I put a tiny bit in a bowl and it smoked perfectly so i jarred em. I will be sure to open every 6 hours or so in the beginning is there any other advice ???

the best place to put the jars is somewhere dark and not hot. If you don't have a spare cabinent I know a couple of people that just put them under the sheets on their bed during the day.

put them in brown bags or shoe boxes, after a week(depending on temps), you can then jar them when the inner stems break with slight bending.
