What’s your take on bottle nutrients?

From a new growers perspective, you can do so much to your outdoor grow, and when seeking advice on getting the best yield, one thing I keep hearing is “keep it basic”. Shout out to socialjoe. But recently I had to save a plant with a dose of bat guano and tiger bloom, after a Nitrogen def. So I’ve come to the conclusion bottled nutes are good, when called for...What’s your opinion on bottled nutes as a whole for outdoor grows? What’s your favorite go to when plants aren’t thriving the way you want?

They can get expensive fast if you have even a medium size grow.
But they work fine

There's nothing wrong with bottled nutes as such. The problem I, and a lot of people, have is that you're essentially paying for water.

There's nothing a bottled nutrient can do that Megacrop, Jack's, or even Miracle Grow can't do just as well. When you have to run 3+ bottles just to acheive a balanced nutrient profile, that smells of greed and taking advantage of naive people who think that's what it takes to grow...a lot of people who start growing cannabis don't really understand, or have a background in, gardening and fall for the Advanced Nutrient gimmick.

All that said...I'd definitely like to try running Dynagro one of these days. It's a complete, one part/bottle nutrient and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

As with many things in life, there's not just one way to get results. At the end of the day, we all have to do what works best for us.

if you can, prepare for next seasons grow buy adding compost and manure and grow dutch(white) clover as a cover crop when your season is over. then next year plant and top dress with a dry fertilizer as needed if needed.
agree with above statements, bottles work but expensive and don't necessarily work better then good old fashion compost and dung and the clover adds N to the soil.

better to just go with a simple dry fert and add the water yourself.

I don’t know anyhing about outdoor but my view is you should buy dry salts and mix your own stock solutions. For small indoor grows bottled nutrients can be convenient.
