Me likes to play in the dirt. last grow was FFOF but next one going with a local mix. guy that does it has his own worm farm and gets his castings from there. plus has other things and is all organic.

What kind of yeilds you pulling you use the fox farm nutes to
my amended soil consists of 1.5 cu' bag of FFOF, 8liter bag of large perlite, small bottle of great white mycorhazae(sp), 1 cup dolomite lime. im only 4 weeks in flower, and heres a pic of one of my laughing buddah plants, and my flower room taken end of last week.

I like to use Promix HP (peat, perlite, myccohorizae). I then add my homemade compost to it for some organic matter. After that its just a matter of amending it with various additives: Guanos, castings, kelp meal that sort of deal. I started focusing on adding a full spectrum of minerals (over 100) and thats made a big improvement in my growing, the plants just seem happier because they have every single possible mineral that exists for them to use.

Promix & Perlite 3:1 and dyna-gro nutes. (foliage pro, protekt & mag pro)
This has been my easiest and best grow yet.

I use peat (Sunshine mix), top soil, worm castings, lots of perlite, some guanos, and dolomite lime. Feed with general organics product line, but not a ton of feeding needed in the beginning.

General hydroponics 3 part system, humic acid, cal-mag, fulvic acid (end of veg and during bloom), and a good quality pk booster. Alot of the good ones also have a flower finisher/hardner in the same product as the pk booster. Bloombastic is a great one, kinda pricey but it goes a LONG way with AMAZING results. Puts the frost and stank on it bigtime. Ph to 5.7-5.9 in veg and 5.8-6.1 during bloom, hitting 6.0-6.1 around week 4. Use clear-x or flora kleen once every 2 weeks or so and for the last 10 days of bloom. The total cost per gallon of nutrient enriched water is cheaper and much more effective than anything else Ive run, and a bit of hardner here and the can turn em into rocks. Doesnt matter what the grow shop is trying to push this week, only 16 elements are needed, and so long as their from a clean source and applied correctly the plants are happy and the harvests are heavy:bigjoint: Good Luck with the garden!!

Still on soil, FFOF w/ extra perlite. I think I might do coco next year on a few plants just to try it out.
