Dhgate lol, knock the Chinese pipes all you want, but my local smoke shops get theirs there and just tax tf out of em. My little juice box bong was $40 at the smoke shop, mf is 17.99 on dhgate.

One of my most used piece of glass came from Dhgate.
Its a little 5 inch gold fumed recycler and it functions like a champ

Improper heating and not annealed. I wanted to blow glass. To hot and metal turned out to be worse.

I agree with going direct to the artist but not all of them will sell to you and will just direct you to a glass shop that carries their stuff. Also, some artists are lazy as fuck when it comes to shipping. Have had multiple artists take a month or longer to ship out my glass.

To each there own but the prices from the vendor posted here are really high. Personally I'm all about mass produced reasonable priced glass. Typical my focus is on glass thickness, I have a cat so the chance of surviving a fall matters.
