What is your 1st memory in life ?

Mines when my mom got caught running a red light with me in the back aged 3-5yr, i remember the cop saying "it's ok i see you have a young child in the back and you're in a rush to collect your kid(my sister) from school so i'll let you off" after she explained.

I was too young to even speak then which was weird, let alone understand what the cop said and why he even did what he did.

What is your 1st memory in life don't matter bad or good ?

I was around 2, I know, because my mom divorced my dad when I was still 2.
I've been a bad sleeper my entire life. One day I got up early, got a banana I wasn't supposed to have, and started watching tv, Sesame Street or Mr Rodgers, or Romper Room probably. This was 1968.
I hear my dad coming down the hall and hurriedly shoved the open banana down the side of the couch cushion. He sees it somehow and slaps me in the face for my temerity of eating a banana.
That's my first memory.

Also when I was around 2, he didn't fully close the passenger door to our VW bug, and I fell out of the car as he was making a left turn. I don't remember this, but there are pictures of my broken face.
Pretty sure no one needs to wonder why she divorced him.
He broke off all contact with me when I was 4. Haven't heard from him in 50 years now.

I remember having a Voltron action figure. It was my favorite toy at the time. I went with my mom to throw the garbage out, never saw my Voltron again

My first memory was riding on a train with my parents and I wanted to play in the floor with a toy car. Mom said no because the floor was dirty. Walked with my dad and stood between cars when he wanted to smoke and watched the rails go under the next car.
