I have always grown outside but decide to try inside ! I bought a tent ( 3 x 5 ) and and led ( Black Diamond Dwarf Star ) 4 inch fan to get rid of the heat ! I started some seeds and at first, they looked good but after a while they showed slow growth ! I put those plants outside an started some more seeds thinking , I had the first ones too close to the light ! Again started out great but now slowed growth again ! Light is as high as i can get it ( no pun intended ) temp is 78 to 81 humidity is 60 % and up and plenty of air movement ! Any suggestions ?

Perlite in your soil???I keep my temps at 70 or 72 with 48-50% humidity....Maybe slow growth is from genetics....

When I first tried LED sheet grew so slow that I swapped the LED for HPS and it outgrew the space in 2 weeks. Maybe nutes are off.

Definitely agree the temps are a bit high, but I'd like some more info. such as what strain are you're growing, how close is your light (230w should be able 30" from seedlings), how much air are you truly moving (cfm) and what soil and nutes you're using

I'm trying the auto flower Think Different started seeds in coco pellets and now in Ocean Forest soil ! Using recharge and Nectar of The Gods nutes ! Plants are 30 days old and maybe 2 to 2.5 inches tall ! Now starting to bud which is normal for a auto but don't know why they didn't grow taller! I have the light about four feet higher than the plants but before they were close to 30 inches ! Could it be that I burned them with the light and it stunted their growth ? That's all I can think of ! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated ! Thanks !

I'm afraid there're too many variables, but if you're seeing buds I'd definitely get that light close, that'll help and possibly help strengthen your root system and stem before you go into a full bloom
