what's wrong with this plant? need urgent doctor!

This baby was going well till last week... however now I have many deformed leaves with curled endings and many more problems... please someone tell me what should I do to make this baby breathe again?

info about the plants:


I am growing in a cabinet, indoor

I have two fans. one powerful exhaust and a small fan ventilating fresh air in.

My watering schedule is once in every 3-4 days..

The PH is around 6.5 and the heat is around 23-28 Celcius Degrees. The humidity: around 35-55

I had planted my seeds about a month ago. And now in the "Vegetation Stage" and waiting for a couple of more weeks before going on to 12/12 flowering..

The lighting is with 8 Light Bulbs (i am using white wiselite 72Watss (5300 Lumen) each for vegetation, will then place yellow daylight ones for the flowering)

For the nutrition I had used a root solution once.

Now I use a "N" based vegetation solution by BioBizz

How did you test the pH?

That gnarled, deformed, new growth is typical of high pH. What kind of substrate are you using? Most soilless mediums require a lower pH, around 6.

The yellowing between the veins can be from K def or Mg def combined with another issue, like K def, for example.

new twisted growth is usually the tell all sign to look for in a deficiency in phosphorus

is it " deficiency in phosphorus " or " high ph " ? the yellow dots are no big deal but i am worried about the deformations... i can lower the ph a bit.. i have a solution for that.. but i thought that they needed Phosphorus in the flowering period.. but can add some now.. should I ?

Potassium is the primary flowering nutrient. You can cause preflowers in 24hrs of light with a heavy enough dose of K. Don't get me wrong, they use a good deal of P during flowering as well.

What is your substrate made up of? Perhaps we can quickly say if it needs more acid.

Some of the yellower leaves on the bottom are indeed showing the necrotic splotches associated with P def. The pH comes first since the plants may not be able to make use of nutrients you give them at the wrong pH. That said, there isn't yet any reason to be sure of a pH problem so if NoDrama thinks that's the main issue, go ahead and give some extra organic P a try. It surely won't hurt anything. Be sure to give them a full fertilization but with extra Phosphorus if you do. If the plants are low in any other nutrient, giving them extra anything else can make that worse.

PH is not the big factor in soil like it is with Hydroponics. You want a slight acidic soil, 6.5 SHOULD be fine. Some plants can have preferences for more or less, it takes years of experience to get to know just the basic signs. Some things you can tell are PH related because it tends to affect the entire plant all at once, but your plants actually don't look that bad off really, probably just needs a little bit more P, those partly yellowed leaves in the leaf tips and margins should heal up. Other than the deformed new growth it all looks pretty good really. That yellow lookin leaf on the bottom is pretty normal. I don't think I have grown a plant yet that didn't suicide at least a few leaves. Those pictures you see that people take of their plants and they look so perfect and green? Yeah they pulled off the dead leaves, to some people they just can't stand to see a dead leaf on a plant.

Perhaps Phosphorus is more important for certain strains during flowering. With the types we've tried, Potassium causes flower production and no amount of Phosphorus causes preflowers to appear.

so first of all I will not use P(hosphorus) because I want to wait 2-3 weeks more for flowering..

I have two other plants next to this one.

They donot show deformation signs... they are much more healthy..

however it may be true... maybe this seed's brand needs a more acidic environment...

so I will first try to lower the ph a bit...

my soil is BioBizz All-Mix soil...

and I use Bio-Grow for vegetation (N) http://www.biobizz.nl/products.php?nid=190&cat=p

I also have PH up and down dolutions.. today its their day i guess = )

I just got these from a friend I have read many post that deal with problems but I think ther are several things here and am not to sure what to do next, any help would be great

Plants in vegetative growth use phosphorous also, they use all of those nutes, just differing amounts depending on stage of growth/flowering. You cannot induce flowering by giving them P.
