Hey guys today i harvested my plant. As i was harvesting i would put all the trimming (leaves) in to the freezer. I decided to make a bit of hash so i used the blender method with the ice. Now all the leaves r sitting at the bottom instead of floating to the top and seperating from the trichomes. What have i done wrong/What is the problem.... Also is there any way i can fix this? Do i need more time>?

If you're doing it Gumby style, which it sounds like you did it wrong.

You're supposed to mix it with the mixer then scoop out the leaf, then let it settle.

Get a strainer of some sort, like a cooking strainer the kind with very thin metal screening and try and drain it through. Squeeze all the leaf left in the strainer to get the remainder water out. It will probably affect yield but it's better than having waste in your hash you know?
Next time you should try and invest in some bubble bags, can't go wrong with those and the final product is definitely better.

I hope this helps you out dude.

Edit: After you strain it through let it settle.

The fresh trim is a bit heavier then the dry trim.

But it makes a better quality hash.

Do what Doobieus said and strain out the leaf then let the water settle.

Just try not to trap your trichomes in the leaf matter when you strain it. Maybe a rinse with some fresh water, let it run off into your hash water and let it all settle.
