What's Wrong With My Seedling?!?

i have a seedling that's about 10 days old now and i am noticing slight discoloration on the very tips of the leaves and possible stunted growth. i added a nutrient mix of molasses, and 1/4 strength fish emulsion which is 5-1-1. my soil contains pine compost, hardwood compost, perlite, and sand...no nutrients added prior. after i added the nutrients i havent really noticed a difference. any ideas??

the nutes might be the problem to begin with i use fish emulsion as well and wait till at least 2-3 sets of leaves (or day 16-20+) before adding because it has caused discoloring on a seedling i had before..usually at that age the cotyledons have enough nutes and can take care of the plant(even if ur soil doesn't have any nutes...my mix doesn't) another way when i know when to added any type of nutes is when the cotyledon are starting to wilt/die. SOME more info would help also..i.e lights, strain, and how much and when u water.

Seedlings dont need additional nutrients. Looks to me like they are suffering from nutrient "burn". Use plain water until 3 or 4 weeks. Just stop using anything but plain water.

Also, check the pH of the runoff. I am not familiar with the soil blend you use but pine compost might be very acidic. Unless you are using that mix for a particular reason or have experience with it, I would ditch it and use a premixed soil like Fox Farms or Roots until you get some confidence with indoor growing.

That one looks small for 10 days but not totally gone.

i did forget to mention i mixed in some lime because of the pine compost. its slow release and it was added yesterday so i guess ill give it a few days and see what happens

This mix is far too hot for a new seedling , no composts for seedlings, use seed raising mix, plain potting mix etc. It's dead bro, nute burnt and it aint coming back.

Transpalnt it into real soil, no fancy mix, and water only. It can still make it. Place a CFL right on it (don't burn it!) and get air moving. Otherwise Buds is correct.
