you are over watering it. pour 1 cup on every 3-4 days instead. The roots need oxygen too so if they are always wet they suffocate

Yup, clearly overwatering. Try this trick: Pour enough water in the soil so that 20% of the poured water accumulates in the dish under the pot.

Stick your finger 1-2 inches into the soil. If the first 2 inches are dry, you can water, if they're still wet or moist, don't water.

ok thanks i bought this moister probe with like a 8" lengh, usually i water it till its like just over 7 almost to the wet mark.

In the begining I used to use one o those cheap green pH/moisture/light garden meters with 2 rods (copper+zinc). The "stick your finger in the soil" method is way more useful.

PS: 7 is still too high for an avarage soil moistness.

That depends on the size of your pot. Those garden meters are made for gardens, not pots.

I suppose it's best if you wait for the meter to show you a 3 before watering. Although in my experience soil tends to clum up around the rods and can screw up the reading.

thanks , i didnt water it for 2 days and it look like its about to fall over and die a horrible death my room is also a freackin hot dry eco dome i have 4 breaded dragons 6 heating pads going 24/7 and 8 basking lights going 12 hours a day. i need a better soliutaion. sorry if i seem a bit angry. would more light on the lower banchs help bring the over watered leafs back to life? and how to i upload pics when replaying cuz i have lots, which would help solve this problem.

Yes, more light will help the overwatering due to: 1. heat and infrared light produced by bulbs, causing evaporation, 2. accelerating metabolism, forcing the plant to use the stored up water.

well i have a few opitions i can go out and buy 2 more 42 watt cfl blubs or i have a another 4' flo fixture. but i dont have cool white blub do you know if i can buy them and a home depot or rona ? if i knew how to upload more pictures i could show yous my set up. i have a 2 - 4' light fixtures in a 3 ' closet. so there on the wall on a angle with half of it on the top of my big plant and the other on my smaller two. i also have a another 4' fixture with just some regalur blub that came with it i tired looking them up to see how much k and lunes they produce but no such luck. but i thouigh it all helps. i am willing to spend the money on cfls or flo i just dont know whats better for my set up. if i get cfl would i put them under the lower banchs or hang it with my other one?? pictures would really help this. please explain

after doing my daily check it seems the lower banchs on my big plant are turning a light green colour. and wilting one ther possibly going to turn yellow one has become paper like and brownish and when touched crunchy,.should i remove them? or only the one? could this be caused by lack of light to lower levels of the plant? or due to nutes???this will be the first plant i have ever grown i do not have much of a green thumb but i wish to.

Yes, buy more bulbs. Go with warm light ones.

Don't remove any leaves. It's absolutely normal for a plant to start using up it's stored up nutes in order to grow better buds. If you cut off the leaves, your plant will have to start drying up other leaves. You should always let leaves fall off naturally.

we need a picture...if they are single bladed leaves or 3 bladed leaves, you can take them off or just let them fall off. I bet it has something to do with your pH and nutrient levels..

Get warm light cfls. I'm sure they have a ph+moisture+light meter in the garden department and a water pH tester (usually used for pool water).
