What's wrong please? No potency at all from my Nirvana plants.

And he said this was the second time? when are you going to learn? Steaming herb in a microwave is stupid, not to mention that microwaves all have different wattages and cook at different speeds...

Thanks everybody for the advice so far but I'm not a nirvana smearer at all and although I have tried quick-drying before I properly dried the ak48 for about a week before putting it in a jar and when I tested the super skunk a day or so ago I dried it on my remote ballast so surely it should have had thc in it. In short, it's NOT my drying methods and I definitely don't aim to smear Nirvana. I must say though, I really can't work out what I'm doing wrong. The most worrying thing is that I've got two flowering nirvana white widows to come and more nirvana strains in veg.

you dried it on your ballast in daylight theres your other problem thc degrades in sunlight you need to put it somewhere dark

mine did. it would take weeks in sunlight to degrade THC to a poor level anyways, the stuff grows outdoors in full sunlight BTW.

then maybe he harvests them too late theres so many factors as to why his buds no good

Lol nutrients aint going to give weed a no potency level . Why you asking what nutrients are you using ? Anyway your telling me you dont feel Any diffrent wat soo ever ? Thats some high tolerence you got there my friend ive smoked shit that dosnt even look like weed and i feel something not stoned or anywhere near but i still feel something . STRANGE

I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune brother. But with all due respect those are some DAMN fine plants sir!! Great job!! Listen you did nothing wrong. Just on my most recent harvest I grew 4 Chemdog IBL fems and 3 Power Kush fems. The PK's had NO potency but a great smell and texture. While the Chemdog IBL's "destroy" you in 6 drags. It's in the seed genetics. Either your seeds are not as advertise or you need to try a different breeder. Nonetheless bravo on those beautiful girls.

i think everyone is just trying to help you out,but really it sounds like you are not drying properly, and since you have a few ready to dry and some that will be soon enough, try a few differnent ways - a longer way may work better, just be patient because your pictures look like they would be the shit to smoke! do they smell a little or alot? do you smell it before you open the door to the room they are in?-good luck sandee

I know it's been said like 3 times, but how are you curing, if your doing a fast cure that's your problem, let the plants tell you when they are done, not the other way around

Curing doesn't effect potency. Its about flavor. And you can dry buds on a ballast.

I think if you want any better answers than what your getting you need to describe exactly what takes place from the time you chop till you smoke. Every detail.

Also, serapis if your still here, I'm not questioning your experience so don't take this the rong way but how did you go about getting seeds replaced for not germing if your not allowed to admit u tried germing them? And I'm not knocking nirvana I've never used them.

yeah I'm sure you're right....you're not doing anything wrong. It must be the seeds, they've only been making pot plants for about... a million years.

Thanks for all the input. If I had to give a reason it would be that I'm not flowering for long enough. I've got a 30x loupe but I can't distinguish between clear and cloudy very easily but I'll wait until I see amber because I've never done that. It should go amber right?

I saw the pictures you posted of your plants dude. All that sugar on those leaves is NOT null and void of THC. Those are resin glands and your plant is covered with them. I will gladly take what you are growing... I still haven't seen a response to that post you made about microwave steaming of buds.... Something is not right here, and it can't be the genetics man.....

You are wrong , just because the plant is covered in trics doesnt mean it is potant
nirvana gentics are hit and miss just like all breeders ,
but i think nirvana is all miss

Well, I'm not going to say you are wrong, but my experience has been the opposite. In fact, my experience is about the same as the majority of others who have kept journals on Nirvana grows. F1 strains are not 'hit and miss'. The pictures of his buds clearly showed heavily resinous flowers.

Please name some specific strains that you grew...

And you claim in another thread you grew out a Vanilla Kush from BF and it was covered in resin but had zero THC..... are you for real dude? I don't want to be rude, but damn if it don't smell like bull shit in here after your post..

yes im for real , and i will not lie
i dont like anything that i have grown.
, i grew a ton of freebies from the tude , plus nirvana white widow ak48 blackjack and blue mystic , barneys farm vk
so far they all are weak .
giving tga a run right now , and i must say his vortex is the only strain that i plan on keeping
have two jack the rippers that will be coming down next week makes them at 10 1/2 weeks
they are covered in sugar about 10 % amber the rest cloudy ,, but i tested a bud last night and No buzz ,, so lets hope they come around by next weeks end

Go to his profile and look at the beautiful buds he grew... the shots could have been used on a seed bank site, they looked so good...

I'm done with this thread, just want to say I hope I never have the luck of some people...
