ok so my plants are about 3 weeks old...not a good strain. the roots grew out of the bottom of the cups so i put them in jars and let the roots touch water, i dont water them more than once every other day. not much light but a fairly strong single bulb on 5 baby plants..the leaves on 2 of them are getting big and starting to sprout more leaves atop.but the stems are long and week...i replanted burying the stems until the first set of leaves for strength...any more ideas???

First things first---GET THEM SOME BETTER LIGHTING. At 3 weeks, I have had plants with 5-7 nodes of growth and about 1-2 weeks away from flowering. One bulb, regardless the type & wattage, is maybe enough for 1 plant. They are just stretched too much. Next you need better pots at this point. It's ok to start them in cups, but with your set-up, you need to transplant them NOW> to bigger pots so the roots won't bunch together & strangle the plant. There, that's a start for you. Good luck fellow grow junkie.:peace::mrgreen:bongsmilie:blsmoke::bigjoint:

Soil+Hydro umm don't think It'll work. Transplant into bigger pot up to first node. Move lights as close as possible with out burning your plant. Check ph.
