What's up with these leaves?

Got this plant growin and its a few weeks into flowering. Leaves are lookin a little suspect and I can't find any info on what it may be. Been feeding her alfalfa tea once every 10 days and 1 gallon water daily. Gonna feed with banana peel molasses tea today. Any ideas?

Looks like pest damage rather than a deficiency. Could be early damage from spider mites. Neem oil is most often suggested, but search here and on Google for lots of examples and fixes.

Watch the water too. Fixed schedules like yours can cause problems. Water as needed, not according to the clock or calendar.

What's it growing in?

Did you check for bugs?

looks like thrip damage

agree, thrips

Here's a pic of what I found. Guessin that's a thrip. Would neem oil cure these? I read that spinosad works really good. Plant is probably 3 weeks into flower.

?? Anyone? Trying to get the same answers in my own thread. You find any info kk? Do you think you could put the finger pic as a full image? My phone won't open thumbnails.

that pic looks like a baby preying mantis, but not a thrip...thrips run like cockroaches and hide very well inbetween the nodes as the suck the nutrients out of your plant. You do have thrip damage. Monterrey garden insect killer for the win....saturate that plant with it 2 days in a row...do it fast since you are 2 wks in already as you dont want to get any pesticides trapped in your trichomes

thrips come in 3 stages...this is what you are looking for

While I agree that sooner is better, just wanted to point out that if you use the Monterey Garden product the wait between application and harvest is just one day for "herbs". It's an organic bacteria rather than a poison, so less worry.

Neem oil or spinosad. Do it at least twice.

I'm brewing up a batch of pepper spray made from 10 cayenne peppers and a liter of water. Will let you know how it works out.

spray them with 50% water and 50% dish soap for 1 week - Yea growing out side invites more plant issues. Easy and cheap nothing to buy !!!

So far so good. My pepper spray is killing the spider mites. Gonna do another application tomorrow as well. I am strictly organic so that is why I decided to go homemade pepper spray.

Just an an FYI if you don't feel like making a brew of pepper juice next time, both neem oil and spinosad are organic.

I just lost a bet to my wife on how to get rid of mites. I just posted this
after losing 3 beautiful girls to these little ba##ards and two more becoming infested the battle is won by my wife
I have spent I don't know how much on various pesticides and bombs without touching the horde my wife bets me she can get rid of them(from the beginning she has suggested that all I need to do is wash them daily with soap. Which is exactly what 1 of the $50. a gallon bug killers says to do while wearing long sleeves a respirator and eye protection). I laugh and give her a plant (the one in worst shape)well after two weeks I just burned mine and hers is going strong and bug free (she said hers would be going better if my cabinet wasn't right next to hers)
Before anyone says I'm promoting a product I'm, not she used Amway's LOC (liquid organic cleaner) I think any organic soap would work, that is just what the wife uses.
My advice if you get these little monsters, save your hard earned money and find a good soap and wash them daily. The wife said she is going to keep up the washing for another 2 weeks

Thanks Bacala. I went to the greenhouse today to see if they had neem or spinosad, and nope they didn't. Had to get on the problem asap so the pepper spray was handy as I have a bunch of cayennes from last year.
