Whats up with the pictures?

Do the new pictures suck for every one else or is it just me? If there is more then one they take forever to load.

I felt the squish last night. Usually works fine though. I use Photobucket during lag spikes.

also, is it just me, or does the site seem uber slow today? maybe yesterday too?
