What's up with Purple?

it depends on the strain, its supposed 2 taste like grapes but there are alot of different flavors grapes, fruit, skunk, pinetrees, the high priced purp is smooth dark frosty compact and tastes like grapes/fruit

My last post was clearly a joke man... i know what good bud taste like, regardless of color....
 
i can walk into 5 different clubs today and walk out with 20 different strains of purple. some might have a sweet, candy, grape flavor but in the end it leaves dirt and flowers all over the palate. purple is stupid. i walk out when i see it on the boards.
 
Hey FDD I'm getting my OCBC on Tuesday, is it worth it? i know the clubs down there are primo but I only plan to make a trip down there once to twice a month. do you think getting my OCBC would be worth my wild or should i just stick with my doc's recommendation?

I have to agree, I've smoked my share of high quality purp and its ok but there's so many other strains out there that blow it out of the water its really not worth the effort to grow imo. Get good genetics :blsmoke::blsmoke:
 
Raidercelticfan, I dig what your saying wit a shovel homie. But I'm just saying don't close your eyes to equal or greater quality weed cuz it's the thang to do. If it's good it's good, and personally, I cant say a particular strain or variety is best, cuz it depends who and how you grow it. Not everybody grows the same, so you could have two growers use their methods side by side with seed or clones from the same batch, and get totally different results. Feel me? Real talk the bay got the best purps, hands down, I give the bay the purple title. But that don't mean it's the best. Plenty of different herb got good taste and smell, not just the purps. But all my dudes from the bay say if it aint purpin they aint burnin. lol. But that only lasted a while, cuz I got bomb green and it taste good. Holla.
 
purple is just pigmet change from colder night conditions in certain strains, and people want to pay more for thinking the color is giving it the flavor, its just funny. I bet the blue strains are going to have a comeback, and all the people in the bay are going to be saying thats the best.
 
I heard that thebeerstalkin! I love the blue, very nice strain. I had gotten some blue dream at a med shop one time and boy was it some fire! Very nice smell and taste too.
 
zeke907 your right bro i know theres good tree out there but i rarely see it if it aint grapes, i do blow blue 2 i got some blue sat 2.2 going from the doc right now along with grape ape gdp and urkel, my circle/crowd wants purp and only purp and untill i see a steady supply and want 4 any other a1 tree im stickn 2 grapes
 
i just busted out my jar of mendo purps. i grew it myself. organic in soil under two 600w HPS. when i open the jar and start to break a nugget up it smells like candied grape. like a grape lollipop. when i hit it it expands the lungs. it gets me pretty stoned, for a few minutes. when i exhale it taste just like DIRT and FLOWERS. :evil:
