Can anyone help? I’ve had a problem with caterpillars, do you think it’s the start of rot? I’ve had to remove a few buds that’s have gone bad

It can sometimes go up to 60, usually when my dehumidifier gets full or something. Not for too long.

They’re from seeds I found in hermaphrodite weed. Is that a no no?

They’ve had about 9 weeks flowering. They were outside for the first 5 weeks then I brought them inside, hence the caterpillar problem.

Looks to be decent outdoor to me. Maybe a lil light deprived? Or genetics. Its bagseed from a hermie grow. I know from experience that means the seeds are almost 100% female & that the pheno range can be a huge variable as other plants/strains in the room get involved in the Orgy. Never knowing what exactly crossed by the time pollen or whatever those hermit plants throw (cuz mine did it w/o nanners, had pre-mature brown hairs where the node crotch is or where they usually show sex on most) for me it took one out of x5 phenos to hermit my whole room. Being a dumb ass, (not you-me) I saved seeds from each plant strain cross n ran them a yr later. x2 Out of x12 appeared to carry the hermit trait & it happened all over again. Lodt the crop to seeds. Now, there were some killer crosses & some bland non keepers with smaller buds (noted, smaller buds) in there. If I had risked the knowing which ones started it then I could've plucked them outta the cloner n kept the keepers. But I tossed them all. Losses are to much to risk.
Could be the pheno being the point. Or even lack of something in its food source?

Probably a bit light deprived, especially the first few weeks of flowering, wasn’t much sun in the UK. Can I ask an important question? I have had to remove a few buds that looked like they had bud rot and of course found a few little caterpillars. Is the bud rot they have caused localised or should I discard the whole plant. Oh and also you’re definitely right about the seeds being feminine. I planted about 12 and every single one was female, good, but I wasn’t expecting that and actually only wanted between 4 and 6 plants. There all stuffed in a smallish space and the light probably isn’t quite enough for all of them. Thanks for helping me, I’m new to this and really see how you can learn from your mistakes. I will get some more pictures shortly.

Just for info, I feel like the top buds are pretty much ready but the rest of the plant not. On a side note they’re still very thirsty. What’s people’s experience with harvesting what is ready and leaving the rest? Thanks.

In the first pic he posted left bud almost center of the pic.....one leaf I thought it might have pm
