Whats this about less light = more females

I've read a few times here that less light equals more females.
Does this just mean they get to sexing quicker?
Or does a shorter light-on cycle trigger more female plants instead of males??

this would mean 24 on, or more than 16on/8off = more males.

There are so many myths about getting more females (cause that is what we all want)

folks will create statistics based on 1 example rather than doing actual experiments

I say try em all and report your results, it's how to learn the truth

im a firm beleaver that sex is predetermined in seeds..... havent seen much proof for the contrary....

how often do plants change from female to male due to stress? dont they just make hermies worst case scenario?
