What's the proper way to use this hash pipe?

I normally just throw some hash on top of a packed bowl of bud, but made some of my own and decided to get a specific pipe for it. I bought this one because it was cheap. I'm just wondering if this is intended to get the bowl cherried to burn the hash, or just stuff it in there and try to get it lit from the top. Im about to just stuff it in and try to light it up that way, but it's just at a funny angle to get flame on it with a regular lighter without holding it upside down. I'm just wondering what the intended method of using it is.

looks like a glass plate for dabbing. you put some concentrate on the blue spoon plate and hit it with a hot nail and suck through the pipe maybe? whats it called?

I have no idea what it's called, which is why I had a tough time trying to look it up and finally had to post here. It didn't work so good with the lighter haha. It just bubbled and barely smoked. I have some titanium welding rod I could probably use as a nail I guess.

Yea looks like you heat the blue part with a torche and dab on there

Use a torch to heat the blue piece then dab your concentrate
