What's the MMJ scene like in Nevada compared to Cali

I visit my pops in NV lots. I would like to be legal in both states. Do you think they would grant some one with a seasonal resident status a med card? It appears that I fit the seasonal resident status per the NV DMV site. That would be killer.

that cool how long did it take you and your wife to get legal??? but all n all the waiver dont mean shit our could it help if you was to get rated or busted for two many plants???
It took a little over two months from the date of requesting the packet.

The waiver doesn't mean anything unless you go to court. I find it very very difficult to keep up with our medication needs with a perpetual grow, which is just a mini sea of green technique, really the only way to grow. The down time between harvest would be to great unless we harvested about a pound per harvest, which is too much to keep on hand IMO. I like to harvest about 2-3 oz every month, which meets our requirements, only it is impossible with 14 plants.

I do find it very interesting and encouraging that they only detained him and not arrested him in the story that gordoe32 provided.

the whole problem with 7 plant perpetual is ONLY 1 STRAIN. wtf is that??
i mean if u grow sum killer og then i guess ull be alright for a couple months.
but i hate smoking the same thing over and over and over its like u get used to the high or sumthing. kinda like if u only own 1 bong or peice and thats all u smoke out of. itll get u high but after awhile it seems like ur body adapts.
i would like to have atleast 3 diff starins.. but then i could only flower 1 plant of each strain if i follow my limit. witch isnt enough, its like a tease. i want to do atleast 3 plants of each strain so i could harvest maybe like a half p of each strain. but also perpetuall so im harvesting ever 2-3 weeks. because if i only have the 3 flowering plants like the law says ill be outta medicine before my next 3 are half way done. the laws out here were writting by someone who knos nothing about growing. if u think about it 7 plants isnt nothing, they should of made it like 7 veg 7 bloom 14 tottal. that i could work with. but this 7 plants total is bullshit.

also what if the po po comes to ur door and says can i see ur grow room. cant we say "oh the lights are off at the moment but they turn on at 8 pm if ud like to come back then ill be more then willing to show u everything"? buy us some time to get us down to limit

When you're living with multiple disabilities, you often need different strains to meet your body's needs for pain relief, sleep, and work. The 7 plant rule is absolutely absurd, and there is no way it allows--even with a perpetual grow, as I do--for trying new strains that may give relief in multiple ways. Not to mention the cost of the doctor's recommendation and the licensing is upwards to $600 to be legal to grow those 7 plants.

Dispensaries are a joke, raided constantly and the home medical grower has no legal right to try many strains to find what works best with their body's needs. Growing can be a major challenge, due to the extremely low relative humidity. Mites love the dryness, and reproduce far faster than they do in even slightly more humid environments. Humidity has to be added, and filters are pricey. I have to change filters once a week in my veg and flower rooms, due to the high Ph and calcification. Filters run $10 for each room, per week.

RO water is an additional expense. Add organic soil, amendments, beneficial bacteria, quality nutrients, and even if you have a 'ghetto grow,' it's still pricey and a challenge. The current medical cannabis laws do not help me a single bit.

The law does not allow me to meet my own needs, to try new strains in order to find what works best with my multiple disabilities. I need Indicas for heavy pain and sleep, Sativas for being able to work at home during the day, mixed strains for when I need both brainpower and pain relief.

I can't imagine why anyone would choose to live here if they had the option to be in a more cannabis-friendly state. I don't have an option. My home is worth less than half of what I paid for it. I'm stuck here. California, Oregon, Washington--I'd love to live in any of those states rather than Nevada, especially Southern Nevada.
