What's the fastest strain?

I plan on growing indoors next year, and I was wondering what the fastest growing strain is. (Fastest as in, how long does it have to grow before I can harvest).

I'm looking for a plant that's quick to grow, and still has a high yield.
So, what's the best strain to get?

where it says "Flowering Period: 8-9 weeks", does it mean that it will be able to harvest within 8-9 weeks after planting the seed?

From seed, the auto-flower varieties might be the fastest. Take a look at the thread in my signature. My Lowlife Auto-AK47 is almost done.
There are several varieties, like Diesel Ryder, Afghan, Lemon Skunk, and plenty more new ones coming out all the time.

They start flowering automatically in 3 weeks, finish in about 10 weeks. The yield isn't too bad for a small plant under 2 ft tall. That makes them
perfect for closets or other small spaces. The smell is pretty strong, and I'll be posting my smoke report in a few weeks.
