Whats the easiest form of Hydro?

Ok basically what im lookin for is an easy, low mainenance, and cheap way to grow (I want hydro, not soil). I've looked in DWC (deep water culture aka bubbler buckets) and while i really like the idea, it can be very high mainenance and is kind of expensive. So basically what im looking for is a cheap ($100 or so not counting the light) setup that will net me a good 5-6 plants worth and i wont be checking water, ph, neut levels every 2 hours or so. I just want something i can check once, maybe twice a day and im good to go. A reasonably priced prebuilt kit works too, but from what ive seen you overpay by not building on your own... that and you have less flexibility as far as adding shit. Well anywho, thanks in advance, Peace.

I believe if you go into the hydro section & look, theres several plans to build, and many knowledegeable people in there to help also.
Glad you stumbled in, welcome aboard!
Peace

Thanks for the welcome, I used to troll around on the OG forums but its been awhile. Oh, and ive kinda looked at the hydro section heh i even posted my dwc idea, but figured I'd look for any feedback as to whats easiest. Ive never actually grown on my own (helped friends kinda thing) and even then it was soil. I get the whole just of ppm for neuts and ph and such seeing as ive owned a big ass salt water fishtank before so thats not really a problem once i get all the basic info i'll need. I'm just kind of on a budget thanks to child recovery services (fuckin nazis steal more from me than i pay for rent). Anywho lol done venting. So yeah I'd like to get started but my dwc setup costs a bit too much at least using a decent light it does. (how much of a diff does using MH or HPS lights compare to using Floros or whatnot?)

Yo I miss OG...

You'll want HID lighting if you're serious about staying in bud.

Search google/etc. for "hempy bucket". It's a 3-5 galoon bucket with a hole drilled about 2-3" above the bottom...and the bucket is filled with perlite or a perlite hydroton mix. You water till water runs out of the holes..and that's it. The perlite soakes up enough water to keep the roots wet for a bit..and the 2-3" in the bottom acts as a small res.

Never done em myself..but I've heard no bad reports and tales of hydro-like yields. If you can be around every day or so to water..this might be what you're looking for.

good luck

Welcome to the forum. I recommend you check out Barrel of Green. Major Toke posted it. I think it could be adjusted for ebb and flow hydro. Check out the yields. You would still need space for mother/clones as well. VV
