Germ in paper towel, move to jiffypellet, then once I can see a root on my seedling coming out of the pellet, I move into small pot.

A seed needs warmth (25 - 30C) and moisture to germinate.

Whatever other medium is used doesn´t matter - although my LEAST favourite is paper towels - I have felt the fine hairs that have grown into the towel rip off as the sprout is lifted off the towel.

Sprouts are very delicate and I prefer to avoid any damage at all.

Best thing you can do is listen to spanishfly and plant them right in some good soil, I soak mine for 12 hours first but just placing them in some nice warm, moist soil is about all that you need to do. Since spanishfly turned me on to just planting the fuckin seed and not messing with it so much %100 Germ rate, he knows his stuff just plant, water, and watch her grow

Im with you and spanishfly, quick question tho. are you putting any light on them or do you wait until you see growth?
