whats the best light to flower with

I would like to know what is the best light to use when flowering i have 1000 watt hps and a 400 watt mh

i would think the hps would be better for flowering due to the red it gives off the mh is more for vegg becuase it gives off blue

veg with MH then flower with the HPS this is probably the best combination.

Mh are for veg, and Hps is for fruiting.
They don't get much better than 1000w hps.

ok then am worried about the heat the mh gives off alot less heat. Could i use it till the temp cools abit then change over are is that a bad idea.

you are going to need to fix your heat problem,
Fresh air is as important as light,
Hps for fruit/flower, Mh is a blue light bud will be loose and stringy.
