Or you could go down the Quantum board route if your not in a rush.
There are many options so it depends on how efficient you want to be and how much you want to spend.

Any decent COB setup will be best imo. There are some very affordable setups out there (Timber, etc.). I went a slightly more costly route and got 6 individual COBs so I can raise/lower/add/remove lights at will. (cobshop.net) You can build any of them for even less money.
I switched from HPS to COB's and the difference in growth rate (everything else staying the same) is astonishing. Everyone who switches from the "blurples" to COBs are happy too.

Yeah I'm in the same boat with my flower light Currently.
I'm thinking on array - 4 COBs 5000k
I was told that will be perfect and 5 wouldn't be needed for 2x4 tent - thoughts?

4 should be good. That's what was suggested to me for a 2.5 x 5' space by the guy who makes mine ( I thought he would suggest 8. lol). I went for 6 anyway. Options. 
5000k should give crazy growth. You may have to raise the lights a lot, or go with pure sativas to get any stretch. lol. I'm running 3500k and it's nuts.
