What's the best all organic base potting soil mix?

Hey guys, i have a question. What are some good recommendations for base soils, other than Fox Farms or Roots Organic. I like the two but they have some stuff in them that i would rather not use. So what are some good all organic base soils, for use for 1 month of veg early on, then i plan on transplanting into my amended "SuperSoil" in the final container, to finish vegging and then to bloom.

Old root balls broke up and amended how you want seem like the way to go if you making your own soil already, might as well make a starting soil.

vermifire is the best bagged soil I ever used, but this was yrs ago though, not sure if they still are as good.

likewise I can only speak of the vermifire, but it's still the base of my mix, like almost 6 yrs old or so.
LOVE the volvanic rock, don't like the bloodmeal so much, but it does well, and given the room, you can make a poor man's water only mix

Been looking at vermifire for long time something other than sunshine to mix with pro mix ultimate organic and amendments

ProMix HP or BX the Myco Blend. That is the best in my opinion. For seedling or flowers.

But honestly Any potting soil you buy will be fine. But you Need to make your Own potting soil I posted a link in a thread called organic potting mix basics and it's an in depth breakdown of Soil Building from scratch. Just google it you'll find it, it's from an Extension site.

What's the best organic potting soil? The one you make yourself!

1 Part Peat Moss
1 Part Perlite
1 Part Compost

For every 20 gallons of mix amend with:

1 Cup of Alfalfa Meal
1 Cup of Kelp Meal
1 Cup of Fish Bone Meal (or bone meal)
1/2 cup of granulated humic acid
1/2 cup of Oyster Shell Flour
1/2 cup of Gypsum

Let it cook for month. Or don't. Ive not had time to cook before, I just feed with bat guano top dressing until the plant has been in its pot for three weeks, then I'll switch to plain water once the soil amendments kick in. Occasional Molasses and the like.

I top dress with a two cups of Worm castings per plant. Works great.

Do you layer with anything else or this is all you got going in your pots?

What do you mean by layers? Are you referring to what subcool does with his super soil? I just bring him up because I know his method is popular. However you'll find that if you crack an agricultural textbook, there is no evidence to support his style. However there is for mixing it all up evenly. And for applying top dressing always sow it into the first two to three inches of soil near the base of the plant (for container gardens).

Yea, I guess I was asking reference to Subcool and other information online for cannabis growing. And I'm just gathering information here, not taking any side in an argument :)

Evenly mixed is OK for seedlings?

I seriously think this line is a viable and great option for those who want both to grow cheap but care about keeping organic and like DTW hydro.

There's a lot of misinformation when it comes to cannabis growing because in all honesty you can be pretty successful even with shitty methods. It's that strong of a plant. All science text books say mix it up. I know there's none on cannabis specifically, but it's not that different from most heavy feeding annuals. In my experience, and I'm fortunate enough to get to dabble, I can confidently say mix it up.

I can also confidently say don't plant a seedling in that mix lol. For seedling I just do the base mix of one part peat moss, one part compost (worm castings are even better), one part perlite. Once they're big enough I move them into one or three gallon containers and the above mix. And then more of the same mix as they upgraded into bigger pots dependent on the room size and the plants demands.
