Whats going wrong?

Hi
Ive just checked my plant and a load of forth has filled the inside of the bucket and covered the roots.
I added 3ml of PH down to the water with 20ml Bio-grow yesterday and the froth appered over night... The water temp is 30c.

Cheers Illegal. There is no smell but theres a lot of brown sludge stuck to the roots.
Do you know what the cause might be? I have switched from rain water to tap water..
 
i think ya prob with brown sludge on your roots could be the water temp. i keep my dwc rezs at 25c i think 30c is a bit too warm.
 
Its only been in the bucket for 3 weeks,but ive had to change it every couple of days because the ph keept going up from 5.5 to 7.5 - 8.
The only thing i done different was change from rain to tap water,added more nutes and started using ph down.
Ive killed the grow now because it started to smell mouldy and the sludge was blocking the air pump..
The plant hadnt been doing to great anyway..
