What's going on with this clone?

Hey guys,
Salutations from California! Newbie here. Just joined the forum as I've been lurking the site for answers the past few days. I've been getting schooled from my local hydroponics shop (said they've been growing for 7 years), and I don't think they are giving me the best advice for my single plant op.
Firstly, they recommended one 23w CFL for throughout my single plants life. They also stated to place the light 18" away feom the canopy. I've since done my own research and found this to not be adequate lighting. I've since added an additional 85w CFL and brought them to about 5" away.
I took a picture of my clone and showed them. They said it was too far past death to save. However, I've seen much worse and growers brought it back to life. I've had this clone for 4 days and has showed no signs of improvement. My buddy picked this one out for me and it looked just like this when he brought it to me. Probably not the one I'd have picked but didn't have a choice.
My question is: is my hydroponics shop giving solid advice, and what's going on with this clone? Over watered? Under watered? Can it be saved? An if so, how? Thanks in advance! This truly is a beautiful community :)

that plant is ok. over watered, do not flush. just water lightly, only when pot it light and check for mites. My clone store refunds if plant dies within 7days. also no nutes for a few weeks, she will be ok

Did the clone come in the big pot ?

It did not. Only in the rockwool. As it turns out, it was thirsty. Although it (rockwool) was damp when I got it, they had severely under watered it. It starting to come back around. Its not quite there but the droop has significantly improved. Thanks everyone!
