What's Fruiting? (where best to post)

Hello all,

I wanted post some photos of some new fruits that I am getting,
but they are not all entheogenic. Is there a more appropriate forum?

i.e. I am getting an Agaricus blazei murrill pin:

i.e. Is there a more appropriate forum for non-magical mushrooms?

I will post actives as well, but have some very cool non-actives fruiting too.

I agree, any and all mushrooms are interesting enough (and challenging enough) that I'd like to see em! Good job on those! Plus you snuck those cubies in for good measure

I see these or something similar looking everywhere. I'm always tempted to just dive on top of them.

do you just like growing mushrooms or do they have to be at least edible to grow?

Hello all,

I have some new shots.

I decided to test just letting a cubensis block weather in my
outdoor shade cloth box, to see if they would fruit.

They did fine. These fruits have taken as long as a couple of
weeks to form. There is every reason to expect that they will
be strong. They are a wild find from Australia.



Check the confused little dude:


While this cube block was left to go nuts in the bag, and is being birthed:


This is going to be a great flush of Maitake:


There were a few shiitake sneaking in the back:


This Pioppino block was birthed way too late:

hell ya dude cool shit i love seeing people growing edibles hopefully ill be doing a shitake log grow sometime this year

Shiitake logs sound great.

I do not live in a particularly forested area, and have not tried this yet.

You can make either sawdust or plug spawn.
