Carne, You had a couple Buttershots, a small beer, and a Rose Tequila. You'll be fine tomorrow. You might be a little thirsty though because you also had salted peanuts and popcorn too.

Oh god.. that's going straight to my hips. :p


I was waylaid by the clan tonight. They came over and begged me to make spaghetti and meatballs. I also made a herb/garlic/Parmesan bread to go with it with a small salad. The refreshment was Watermelonaid.


  • 1 (12-pound) watermelon (preferably seedless)
  • 1/4 cup sugar, divided
  • 4 teaspoon fresh lemon juice, divided
  • 16 cups ice cubes, divided

Garnish:
  • lemon slices; mint sprigs

Cut watermelon flesh into 2-inch chunks and discard rind. Purée one fourth of watermelon in a blender with 1 Tbsp sugar, 1 tsp lemon juice, 4 cups ice, and a pinch of salt. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl, discarding solids. Make 3 more batches. Add sugar to taste if desired and serve over ice.

Pork chops and green beans :)! Gotta go turn on my grill now and have a smoke outside while enjoying the beautiful weather mother nature has gifted me with today :bigjoint:;)!

I'm a gay man, love. Cooking is second nature. As for the cocktail making? I left my church for quite a while and made up for it by trying and making every alcoholic concoction under the sun. I even committed the most heinous crime known to Mormondom. Mixing alcohol with coke! ::gasp::

How was the doc visit? Everything ok?
Just a check-up. I like to stay on top of things. :)



addendum: umm.. the coke I'm referring to is coca-cola not cocaine.
