whats a good soil mix

hi will be potting my plants for the final time very soon and just woundering what good to use in my soil(potting compost) mix they are in a mix of perlite and soil 20% perlite 30 % compost intrested to know what is be used with good results

Subcool has a good thread in the stickies for making soil that is'nt supposed to need any nutes. I made some like it and no problems so far.

Best soil to use is available at lowes its mixed with compost,perlite,sand and worm castings then just add some vermucolite and they will grow fast and beutiful...

what is it? my lowes doesn't have anything like that.

O and as far as fertilizer I use earthjuice for vegitation and nirvana for flowering its guaranteed to double your bud size...

I use B'cuzz Pro-Mix right out of the bag. Nothing added.

i guess mine doesn't carry it, just did a search, i have to drive like 40 miles to get pro-mix, something from lowes would be nice

Ya I dont have to add nothing to the soil either I can pour straight from the bag but I have had better results adding a little vermuculite to go with the perlite already added...

The plant above was grown in MG Moisture Control. It's what I use when I can't get Pro-Mix. One 2ft2 bail of MC to 1 bag of MG Perlite. MG Seed Starter is better for starting seeds. Good luck.

That plant looks to be suffering a pretty substantial N deficiency.
