Just because a plant appears to be in perfect health doesn't mean it can't be improved. Plants can grow just fine without nutrients added, but may never reach their full potential. Why not take two clones from the same plant and feed one with a nice variety of nutes and don't give anything to the other. Then compare the vigor of the plants along with yield and height.

I do not use any nonsense like that.....just good soil and lights.

The real truth is this; " Cannabis main source of everything is light. "

Growing inside is simply trying to compete with Sol and since we cannot " lumens yes, but not all of the other benefits, " we add nutrients to enhance a grow. "

Cannabis will grow in sand, if there is enough light..

It truly is a miraculous Tree, in spite of the things we believe we are doing to enhance.

With enough light and good built organic soil, I have taken Bagseed and grew plants that would compete and even be better than most of those over hyped Amsterdam type strains and I have grown plenty of them also.

All in how you grow.

Go Organic.

Purple maxx is a great product. Currently I'm using their snow storm ultra and I love it. I've got trich's literally dripping off some of the buds onto the soil and leaves below.

That is very false. All living things on this planet NEED nutrients to survive. Cannabis has a very hard time growing in sand if their aren't any nutrients given directly to the roots. Sand has little to no nutrient holding capacities which is why most plants can never survive in the desert. To just say that plants need only light to grow is defitinally ignorant to basic botany of plants. There are 4 main things ALL domesticated plants need to survive: Air, Water, Nutrients, Light. You need to supply your plants with all 4 of those main ingredients to grow cannabis. If any one of those is too little or even too much then you can run into problems.

I completely agree with your analysis of a good organic built soil though.... BUT... a good organic built soil has a SHIT load of nutrients in it and a SHIT load of fungi/bacteria to do your bidding.

Please don't give out false info like that.

Hello All-
Went to the local grow shop to get a couple of items, and the gal at the counter realy likes me so she turned me on to some free samples of Fox Farms Open Sesame/Beasty Bloom/Cha Ching. I thought what the hell, i'll try these on one of my clones. i have 3 clones from the same plant, I added the Fox Farms nutes to the healthiest of the 3 clones. After 1 month there is no comprassion, the plants that were fed the Blue Mountain Organics have grown bigger then the FF plant, and the buds are bigger and jucier (more tricombs) then the FF product. It may be due to the fact that the plant was grown all organic until the FF nutes were added (started at half strength), but from what i've seen in the last 30 days is just amazing. I swear by BMO and their products.
I would try BMO'S Super plant tonic and their Flower Power, great stuff for the bloom.

Re-read my words again if you would like friend and you should see that there was nothing said, false.

I made it clear the importance of good soil indoors, but this Tree can indeed grow in sand outside with nothing but irregular watering " brought up only as an example that we do not have to go crazy and spend rediculous money on many so-called nutrients that are really overkill and not needed as much as lighting and other factors, that are even more important. "

This Tree can be grown in the desert and it still saddens me how people choose the ignorance of false science to common sense and trying things for themselves to see if it works.

Have I grown in sand and used nothing but water in direct sunlight outside.....yes....results.....three tokes and you are good.....real good.

Done it twice.

I usually never respond in defense, but you guys would be amazed at what this Tree can really do, once you listen to your heart and not what some false science or dellusions have tried to deter the mind.

Allot of these young boys and girls, do not have the money to buy all of the things that are recommended by some.

They just want to know how to grow a tree or two and have some nice medicines.

You can surely spend as much as you would like, but it is not necessary and a waste for most that just want a small controllable grow for their own smoke.

Keep it simple and after a couple of grows, new people will find out really that it is common sense " when one chooses to apply it," that will produce the most healthy and potent smoke......for cheap.

Geez, brothers I use to watch this stuff sprout and grow out of old igloo coolers in the back yard that had last years dirt thrown in them and watch them get six foot and produce old school smoke that would burn out your eyes.

Now, it is Bloombastic 9000 this and that and brothers and sisters just throw their money away, because they want to listen to the next person that has never used common sense thinking for him or herself.

Does well for the Marketers, but never allows the growers to learn the Real Truth of Growing.

Truth that they do not teach in college and never will.......until we make them through our own understandings.

Blessings,

Rev. TheNatural

Sure, plants will grow anywhere.... Thats the number 1 evolutionary function of all life on this planet; survival. The idea is to get the MOST out of your plants. I agree with you about buying needless stuff, but to claim that botany is false science is absurd at best. A lot of science can get in the way of a lot of real things, but their should be some pretty basic understandings of everything in the world. It reminds me of a muslim guy that I talk to a lot, and his answer for everything is that its all false and that science is a joke and that evolution isn't real. yeah, I'd really love to believe that some omipresent "god" will strike all sinners down and bash all homosexuals, but.... I just use some common sense and can back up my claims with hard evidence.

Plus, college is actually where you do get to start to think for yourself as far as instutionalized schooling goes. Why do you think all the radical ideas and thinkers usually end up being college professors? Noam Chomsky, Ward Churchill. I am a biology professor with a minor in botany so I could possibly know something about plants & evolution. I also teach a labor studies class one night a week at a community college, so I am also very well aware about capitalism and getting people to disconnect from their money & surroundings.

Those ff nutes you are talking about are not intended for use on young plants or clones they are specifically geared for a plant in flowering. Thats probably whats goin on.

I waited until they started to bloom before i started using the FF products. The clones were put into the ground June 4th. They were 3.5ft-4ft tall & wide before FF products were introduced. Ff products were introduced to the plants on Aug 1st. The bloom production on the organic plants are just going off, while the FF plant has fallen behind, and continues to fall further behind. The proof is in the pudding.
