What you think about northern lights from nirvana seeds?

I grew some in 2011. Super easy plant to grow. Stays short and squat. Beautiful shine to her hence the name. Definitely old school in terms of flavor and high...not a terp fest like a lot of modern strains. In fact she's pretty mild compared to what's available now, but also a building block of MANY modern crosses.

When I started growing about ten years ago I grew two seeds of their nl. They both turned out to be female and very similar in every way. They were ok plants, big ass colas. But it did not take long for them to be replaced by “better” strains.

I have read a lot of good things about Nirvana and I’m sure they have some fire, but like most I turned to other breeders eventually. Right now I’m all about Bodhi, but I plan on trying some other breeders next order. A lot of great breeders out there right now. Please keep us updated on your grow and good luck!

Man I have been running wonder woman for a decade. I won't be running it again. This past years pack had zero resemblance to anything I've grown from them before in the same rigs. It was fine and hella heavy yielder but was much more middy than anything I used to get from them. Ive run there NL, snow white, White widow, bubblicious, mango skunk and wonder woman and honestly snow white and bubblicious were the only two I wouldn't run again if I could be guaranteed they were all the same strains. I almost always ran fems and they were always hearty and never hermed on me. Typically they had two phenos in a pack and one was almost always a squat indica heavy xmas tree. Sorry for the ramble but all in all I'd say it can't hurt for the price. And plus you'll get a nice hand warmer or something.

I had a nice snow white back in 2010. I actually recently bought another pack because it was such a good chill old school flavor. I doubt the current offering is as good but shit they were cheap.

Grew their NL for my first time of growing anything, let alone a cannabis plants. She grew very squat and bushy, even with CFLs. Can't remember the taste, I know it didn't stink all that bad, but that's exactly why I chose that strain. + ease of growing. She was also generous enough to donate her main stalk that I turned into a pipe to keep as a souvenir :bigjoint:
