What you guys think of this setup

Here is my setup:
Strain: Northern lights feminized auto-flowering
Tent: 36x20x60 with reflective covering
Light: 400 Hps Light ( still haven't decided on how I am going to hang it, string maybe I dont wanna buy that huge holder for $120 lol)
Soil: Fox Farms Ocean kind
Pots: two 3 gallon pots
Nutrients: None, because auto-flowering should be so fast it should not need any?
Fan: Some small fan that rotates.
Ph kit: Do i need this?

Thoughts and opinions, will post as soon as I receive everything!
 
Almost same set up! First grow? I have a 250w super lumen lumatek with a hortilux super lumen hps bulb, in a stealth cab 31x18x26. Same soil also good stuff, love it. As for the auto flower with adding nutes, i would. And the ph kit would be good to have, unless you have steady water that you already know isn't high in ph. Rain water is my preference, tap water is good just need to watch out if you're in a bad area.

To hang your light just get a pack of yoyo hangers. Shouldn't cost much at all, and if you consider what you might lose if it were to fall...
I've only grown out two auto but they were both very cal/mag hungry and, one was just a nute hog all together.
Also, I would also say yes, get a ph kit. It will come in handy if something starts looking off. GL.
 
Nice, how do you put the bulb in tent? Do you tie it or have that big $120 dollars setup. Which PH kit you recommend the one you put in dirt? Ill look into nutes
 
Do you only have the bulb and ballast? You can buy a three way at a local hydro store, most have them. Ph, light penetration, and even moistness level. But i just test my water, I used to watch my soil just not as much now..
I currently have a cool tube with a 4" duct fan connected sucking the heat out of the cab.
 
I heard mixed things about i power, so i went with all high name stuff. Depends on how long you depend on doing it, and how much your willing to spend. Although i only will be spending about 400-500 total, i built my box and now parting together the rest. Again all high name stuff, hortilux, lumatek, ec. How much did you spend on your bulb already?

I mean probably not to much, do you recommend any good light set up for reasonable price?
 
yeah i like yoyo hangers they work well,your gonna want some nutes of somekind!and maybe bigger pots bit your limited to space!,my new setup is nearly complete! im about 80x80x150,400w maxibright digilight(dont need to be using right now) 2 10" rotating fans for high and low,4 18L square pots,4"rhinocarbon filter attatched to a vents tt inline temp and speed control fan,same fan for intake,im gonna be using a bat mix soil and canna for the nute range!,i have cut a old tent up and stuck it to the inside of this cupboard im bringing my air straight from the loft and getting rid of from the top of the roof,below this cupboard is a empty space which i will be knocking through and putting a cupboard door on in these next weeks and i have a 4 tube t5 to hang in there as a clone/veg room! im quite happy with it :D

2 hortilux super lumen bulbs 80.00
ratchet hangers 10.00
cooltube 50.00
td 100x inline duct fan 80.00

^^ IMO a way better set up for 300.00 with only 1 bulb, or 200-250 for a ipower set up??

Any thoughts on Lumatek ? I'm currently using a 400w set up adjusted to 250watts( i don't need more at this time ) and i can't find anything dissapointing.Do you think it's overpriced?

Only good things, i love it! Looks cool, and has the super lumen option 20%-30% more lumens with out the heat or watt adding.
