What wrong with males?

hi people, im new to growing, just have a few questions.

whats wrong with growing males? do you get anything to smoke from them?

if you leave male and females together, where abouts do you get the seeds from? and if a male does pollenate a female can you still smoke the female?

Males produce no smokable material, only pollen.

If a male pollinates a female, she will seed at the bud producing nodes.
Her bud will still be smokable, but much less potent.

The problem with males is that most of the time we think with our little head ....

Males are fine (NEEDED, actually) if you want to breed, but that's it.

well, ya' can always use the males to make some hash oil... that's about it, or grind 'em up for compost

do they contain thc?

males do produce THC, not nearly as much as females.

Here's the thing, no matter how amazing your male plant looks, it can pollinate your entire crop from a hundred meters away - and with the invention of clothing (whatever jackass did that) the pollen can cling to your clothes and travel as far as you do, meaning, no female is safe!

So..... just, delicately, toss them into a plastic bag once you see those pollen sacs

if they females are out in the garden does this mean they can get pollinated by other plants? (non-cannabis)
