To make matters worse, lets say the German police held Jackson with little -if any- communication with his friends and family. Under those circumstances, the mainstream media would let out howls of rage over the brutal police state tactics and the lack of freedom in the so-called Republic of Germany."

I think the point the OP was trying to make was that when black people discuss "black power" it's all kool and the gang, but when white people discuss "white power" it's bad news.

I think we should all just live together, we're all living on this big blue watery rock together, no point fighting over skin colour, religion, etc

The point is if he'd been black noone would've said anything cos the world has gone über-PC for some reason. Wanna be truely anti-racist? Stop treating groups like they need special treatment.

That said, I'm pretty sure David Duke is a neo-Nazi, so going to Germany was a stupid choice. They have absoloutly ZERO tolerance for anything Nazi related (for obvious reasons), denying the holocaust is illegal, saying/making pro-Nazi speeches/signs/gestures is totally illegal too.

I don't understand the need for racism nowadays tho, why not give everyone the chance that you'd expect others to give you?

I don't believe David Duke is NAZI at all, I have never heard him speak about NAZI anything. NAZI stuff is out in the modern world, nobody does NAZI any longer. I'll bet you can't find 10 thousand of those clowns on the whole planet.

David Duke now speaks about Nationalism as opposed to the NWO agenda, he also speaks about preferential treatment that is given to minorities, he speaks about the many worldwide banking scams, he speaks about overbearing governments, he speaks about American imperialism. There is no way the he was ever going to speak about the Holocaust while in Germany, it is a certainty that he knows the laws of Germany.

The original article speaks about the heavy handed repression of free speech, wouldn't it have been better for them to let him speak, waiting till he crossed the line before they arrested him? In effect the German authorities martyred David Duke with their specialized form of preventative justice.
