What would be a good strain for back pain?

I have been wondering if anyone with back pain would know what a good strain is for back pain. I crushed my T11 and T12 vertebrae in an auto accident a few years back. I don't like to take prescription pills because they make me sick. I am about to order some new seeds but i want a strain that is a good medical value for pain.

Stay with an indica plant as they are more body related highs and tend to relax the muscles while sativas are more of a head cerebral high. Something like white rhino or great white shark would be good choices for this and can be found by and suppliers of greenhouseseeds

Thank you. I will probably get the White Rhino. I have a couple other strains that i want to get but this one is strictly for me. Now if i can find a good strain for migraine headaches then we will be in business. I get one about every two weeks and i have it for over 24 hours but have never tried to smoke when i first get them and by that time it is too late. Once i get one, nothing seems to help. If i take medicine i usually throw it up right after i take it. It gets to the point that i usually am over the toilet the entire time. I can't eat nothin because it just comes right back up. But if i can find a strain that maybe if i can smoke it right when i feel a headache coming on, it will help relieve it some.

I've had headaches like that, and for me, smoking just makes it that much worse that much faster. My standby is the old-fashioned ice bag. Be sure to put water in it, if you just put in ice then the air inside the bag acts as an insulator and you're not cooling your skull efficiently. Put in enough water that it gets supercooled and put that puppy on your keppie, put your keppie under a pillow til it subsides and then be glad once it's all over.

I subscribed to this thread because I have a back injury and smoking is a damn sight better than the surgery they wanted to do or the Rx drugs that just get you constipated and fuck up your liver or kidneys.

That is exactly what i was thinking. They wanted to put balloons in the vertebrae and then fill them up with cement. That is one thing that i wont let them do. I am not having surgery on my back like that. And yes the pain meds would make me sick and constipated. I could have someone take me to the hospital when i get my migraines but they would have to physically put me in the car. That is one of the worst things, for me atleaste. I can not stand to get in a car when i have a migraine. I would rather die. If anyone has had one then they know what i am talkin about. Those that have never had a migraine then you are sooooo lucky. My sister gets them, but not as often as me and she usually goes to the ER and she gets a shot in her neck and it helps her. But i live over an hour from the closest hospital so i never try it. But i can't wait till i get the White Rhino and try it for pain. Thanks guys.

I concur with FilthyFletch, Indica. I also have back problems; L-4, L-5 disc bulges, which I believe are also leaking, due to a chemical like burn in the affected area.
