What would a blacklight do? A.K.A UV light

I was just wondering what U/V lighting would do for plants,
does anyone know?

If you put a white shirt or a highlighter on your plants they will glow.....Besides that NOTHING.....

I heard using a blacklight makes your Buds Purple!!!!

nah I think plants are purp if they are the right strain

no crap.... i was jokeing. It would be like using a purple light bulb... it just isnt gunna work.

A regular blacklight won't help or hurt plant growth. But another kind of ultraviolet light (short range UV) is considered germicidal and is used in some ozone generators. The other type of ozone generator is corona discharge and doesn't use ultraviolet light.
