What will Cause This on my leafs

I have a few plants that did this after I put under my amare 450+uvb cob light and now the bottom.leafs are getting brown spots so I been using calmag but helps but not like it should So I put some Epson salt in when I feed them last night look at pics and see what you guys think rest of.plant looks great there is 3 critical+ 2-3 jack herre and 2 Amherst sour D all in sungro soil using general organics go box and using chart on box but I'ma start only using half of what it say well thanks for any input the plant that had the pinkish red leaves it's in flower maybe 6-7 weeks not sure what's issue

Was the plant acting like this before new light?

How often do you feed them?



As far as I know that uv light sheet is only supposed to run for a short time during the day. Maybe I'm wrong.

I don't have the uvb switch on bro only the LEDs and cobs and I feed maybe once a week I'll feed them

I had plants in my basement under 8 bulb t5 with 2 red bulbs and we're doing good but some had dry leafs also on bottom I'm not sure if I put lime in with the dirt to try n keep the pH stable

From what I've been reading I've seen seem those symptoms in 4 cases:
1) Boron deficiency



Leaf Color:
– Pale leaf color
– Purple or darkened leaf color
– Dark brown spots on leaves

Leaf Symptoms:
– Browning or burnt leaf edges

Plant Symptoms:
– Thicker growth tips
– Slowed growth
– Twisted or abnormal growth


2) copper deficiencies

Leaf Color:
Edges Appear Brown or Burnt
Pale Color Leaves
Yellow Leaves - New Growth
Yellow Leaves - Lower, older leaves
Yellowing Between Veins
Dark or Purple Leaves
Red or Pink Color on Leaves

Leaf Symptoms:
Upper Leaves / Newer Growth Affected
Lower Leaves / Older Growth Affected
All Leaves Seem Affected
Leaf Edges Appear Burnt
Leaf Tips Appear Burnt
Leaf Tips Die
Slow Growth
Twisted Growth
Abnormal Growth
Leaves Curl Under
Wilting / Drooping
Plant Symptoms:
Weak Stems
Slow Growth
Twisted Growth
Leaves Curl Under

Other Symptoms:
Buds Not Fattening

3) PH fluctuations

4) light burn using LED gives same symptoms from what I read.

Non of this is from experience, just what I am reading so it might be wrong... anyway one thing I know is you need to check PH and TDS as they are crucial to determine most problems. Good luck

PH, that is your issue. the go box is not PH stable. last time i was using it, ph was between 4.8 and 5.7 before adjustments depending on which stage feeding i was using.

Yea I'll have to check pH each time but there is deformed leaves and rust spots kinda like naija put and some.of the stems are weak even bent like it needs water

Sometimes wrong PH creates a blockage of nutrients, which leads to the roots not transfering the nutrients in the soil. So I'd suggest you first check the PH; if the readings are within limits start treating for deficiencies. If PH is not within limits fix it and see if you notice any improvements, I am treating some of my plants now from low PH and some plants showed improvement in 3 days.

I honestly don't know, but it depends on the soil, in general from what I know 6-7 for soil is good, coconut coir and hydroponics 5.5-6.5; but better you ask someone that used the same soil as you are using

Or look at the journal section and follow someone that uses/used the same soil

Dude said.try some.p what all has good amounts in it I have the go box general hydroponics I also have shit ton of other nutes like fox f big bloom tiger bloom some.bloom boosters

Usually when feeding and you get cal,mag & phos def, then its a sign of low pH.

Next time, mix & cook some dolomite lime in the soil & if you plan to use that setup again then you'll stop having those problems. The soil should be stable before flowering

SPL I did put lime in the soil it's slow.acting lime lady said at garden shop I wasn't sure and that's what she said to use I wish they made a desolving table for ph one from 5.0-7.0 just put one in each gallon u mix and bam good.to go lol but what should I have pH at like 6.2

If you added lime then it will take a week or two before it starts slowly breaking down, normally a healthy amount of lime should keep you near or at 7 which is fine with organics but don't over do it.

i use ph 6.5 for soil. every once in a while i like to take a reading of the run off as well, just to make sure there is nothing wonky there.
