Hey guys I've got an indoor grow going with a bunch of seedlings ready to be transplanted into their permanent homes. I'm gonna be putting them in 5 gallon containers so I'm going to need a bunch of soil. What kind do you guys use or recommend using? I know most people will say Fox Farm but that stuff typically runs around $20 a bag and since I'll be growing a lot of babes I'm looking for a cheaper alternative. Thanks in advance..

I can not get the good soil in my area without getting looked at. So i use 1 bag of MG prefert soil, 1 bag MG organic, 4 cups of Blood and Bone meal, 10 lbs of ewc and add 10 lbs of DE oil dry from autozone. works good just flush well and you will have no issues what so ever. Also when transplanting rooted clone or popped seeds use soil that has already been used!

Peace

if you had time I would say make your own. Here's a link to Subcool's https://www.rollitup.org/subcools-old-school-organics/44686-subcools-super-soil.html
otherwise just go with a high quality soil, check for bugs/twigs/garbage (some stores stock Fake high grade soil ----it starts with an L and ends with owes ;)
some local stores either carry or can order other high grade soils for you. Sunshine mix, black gold, pro mix, etc...
that being said cannabis is a weed and will grow in almost any soil.

Perlite should run you like $5-$6 for a big bag at any nursery.
