What Type of Lights for Seedlings?

So I germinated my seeds and there ready to start growing. I'm only growing inside up until the plants are strong enough to go outside. I only have 5 seeds germinated. I bought cfl's today but what should the minimum wattage be in order to just get the seed growing? I'm new to this stuff :P

CFL for quick and easy till theyre about a month old (my routine, i also use 4 100watt 23 actual) then i put em under a 400 watt MH for 1-2 weeks then into flower with my HPS.

You'll have to "harden" them, gradually getting them used to the sun. Start by putting them in indirect sunlight, slowly moving them into the full on sun. Maybe over a week or two period? Any outdoor growers wanna chime in here?

exactly^^^ you have to "harden" them and get them used to the sunlight... cause if you just have them under a light that only produces the lux of say 1/100th of the sun and then bring them outside... they will be in shock not only from the intensity, but also the direct radiation that the sun produces...

imagine being in a room with the only light for your eyes were a "nightlight" and then after a couple of weeks that would be the only light you would ever get then having to go out into the sunlight, it would really hurt your eyes...

you'd recover, but the plant probably wont...

bring them out for an hour the first day... two the next three the next day etc... for the first week or so in INDIRECT sunlight...

then the second week the same "hour" time say your already up to 7th day and in indirect light, by then they should be good to go in direct sunlight for a few hours a day and then full on from there and youre good to go... ;)
