What Type of Bug is This? Aphid?

Saw these extremely small bugs on the planters last night. Not the plants, just kinda sitting around the planter rim. I tried to scrape one onto a razor to see it live under my mircroscope but I think they are jumping out the way. Any one know if this looks like gnats, or aphids, springtails, or what. They are not really doing anything besides sitting there. They appear to be coming from the soil.

After spraying a good bit of insecticidal soap on the planter rim and around the planters, they seem to have died as I couldnt find any this morning. Still want to know what it is if anyone could help.
