What to look for?

I have a bit of a conundrum, I'm growing from seed either an indica or sativa dominant. I have limited space to work with and the sativa strain usually grows between 3-5ft tall, too tall for my setup. What traits should I look for first to determine if its either an indica or sativa? I know fan leaves are usually fatter with indicas, anything else I can look for during seedling stage? Its currently 7 days young.

I'm not sure the best way to tell but there are techniques like LST you can use to deal with hight issues.

If it's a sativa dom you will notice a lot of stretching in the beginning flower stage...you can tell sometimes from the leaves but most bag seed is hybrids; likely not purely Sativa or Indica but a mix like 60/40. No matter which is dominant you should employ both LST and super top techniques to maximize nodal areas; especially if you have small space. Consider making a net or using chicken wire for SCROG & go for a long veg. Keep em short & bushy..don't be afraid to train your branches for max light penetration and increase the amount of nodes where bud can grow....side lighting can also increase yield in small spaces.

I have a mixed bag of indica blueberry and sativa sweet skunk. I do plan on using the SCRoG method along with topping, just trying to decide if I should cull if its SS, the breeders notes say it stretches and branches out during the first two weeks of veg, just seeing if there is any way of telling before waiting that long.
