what to do with soil mix

after you mix your soil, do you let it just sit out in the open? do you lid it up? im gonna mix in a 10g rubbermaid tub. can i just leave it my spare room until its time to use?

yeah put the top on it it's just like it was in a bag. My top didn't have a lid that fit so it dried out and I was worried about using it but I had a whole lot of it left and just decided to use it after like 6 months. Worked just fine.

I mix mine up in a large rubbermaid also. I drilled a bunch of tiny holes in the lid, with the smallest drill bit I had. To allow some air in & CO2 out, as the soil mix cures. I turn it weekly, for three weeks to a month, & sprinkle in some chlorine free water, if it starts to look a little dry. This has always worked well for me.
