I need a place to document my work it will help me keep dates and different aspects about what I’m doing. This is a documentary on a medicinal perpetual grow, a place to discuss growing cannabis but mostly a way to keep track of dates and pictures. I live in New Mexico and it’s a good life here, soon we will have recreational access in this state but for now it is medicinal only. Sometimes I miss Colorado where I was born and raised but I do like the desert. Enough on the introduction, that’s not important.

I’m currently running a super silver sour diesel haze from connoisseur genetics, also a “bubba kush” from Humboldt seed organization and just flipped a cluster funk from Bodhi. I have other stuff coming up but I’ll comment on that shortly. This one is finishing up and fading fast. 8A12BC41-BE22-45A4-8947-87B07BBE6D6E.jpegE7CD033B-4AAD-422C-B3F3-B14C21B9CC1B.jpeg756D69A8-1DA3-4904-BA16-533E5F738AFB.jpegC6B48641-DC0A-491F-AF87-04353BAF776B.jpeg6B01B6C1-18D2-4700-9B2D-2694D4665719.jpeg8F0E57A2-3864-4DD8-859A-C66BD3D7FD13.jpeg5076BB05-C6FB-4952-AE19-28EAC73B6365.jpegB29E2940-8CEA-4CC3-B27D-61F922A6A819.jpeg615A31FD-0C04-4D8E-B580-2BA07CBADD87.jpegB4FBF2C6-AF60-48EB-A8CB-FC08C122D600.jpeg

She smells like a a fountain poured coke.
What’s good folks, RB what’s good my brother!
Seems like a good time to start a thread of my own, I’m currently getting ready to move out of my tents, I’m grAteful for them but it’s difficult to go from dedicated space to such limitation. So when I moved 5 years ago I was offered space in my wife’s 18x12 shed, it took me a couple years to take her up on it but now I can grow in a tent and she is getting tired of cycles of dirt and trim on the floor so I got approved for a new shed. Woo-hoo! I get my own work shop and dedicated grow space. The shed is 10x12 with 10 Foot ceiling. There are 2, 4x4 spaces and one 4x3 for flexibility and the ability to quarantine. It’s just my personal garden and I tend to run perpetual. I just finished the electrical yesterday and started insulation. I have to detour a little bit as I have to pick up my work bench today so that wall needs to be finished.

Quick snap of the fake bubba and cluster funk, bubba is at about 4-5 weeks and cluster funk a couple days. I splashed some nutrients tea on cluster funk and she got burnt even though I rinsed it off. Bet me that organic nutrients can’t be very potent. ;) I have burned my plants with too strong of concentration before, way less is needed than I thought. Kind of crazy in my opinion.

Fake bubba at 7-8 weeks below, I feel like it’s about 7 really. I went to visit my boys in Seattle for Christmas, and she continued to ripen up nicely while I was gone. She has a branch crossed to a white romulan x biker kush that should be fun. I harvested my sssdh, 11.5 weeks give or take and it’s seeds were ready. I had a perfectly structured matching male with a darker complexion and a funkier odor that I was compelled to try against her. I just had to! The smell on this sssdh is really great leaning towards super silver haze, I just sampled several super silver haze examples of flower and oil variations and this is definitely a strong representation of it. The odor on mine is more intense than any of the samples I had! I haven’t sampled mine yet but I’m highly encouraged by the intensity of the smell. I’ll post some pics when I get her trimmed. I have nothing to show right now, veg plants are boring plus I have several clones that I’m treating for various illness so they all look like plants growing out of illness lol.
Just because I never posted it, check out the cankles on this gal! She grows the fattest connection to an amazing root system! This is a clone!4970346A-E26B-4400-9F40-1D974EB17124.jpeg43DB8B04-A467-4B88-8DB9-6E1FC02DD5DF.jpeg

I’m sampling the first bits of “cured” bud, not been in the jar for long, about 3 weeks maybe.
First whiff off the jar brought me deep in, I wanted to just stick my nose in there and just breath. Smell is like a Coca Cola, kind of sweet and spicy with a hint of lemon but with a hint of wordiness too, just like super silver haze but more pungent than many of the times I have had it and a faint greasy rag in there too. The taste is purely like ssh, mild and low key to boot. It has a zest type of finish on the tongue and the bowl ends like sour d with a pleasant end instead of a nasty cashed taste. hazy lazy high, I’m motivated but a little spacey. I feel like I might have gained super powers lol. It’s grinning and happy type high, nice haze!

Some update on my dead head shed, it’s taking me forever but it’s not half assed and I’m trying to really make it purpose built, informed by years of growing experience. It is environment secure and easily maintained, like a miniature professional operation. Funny enough, my goal is to find backing this year and go pro! I’m going to help my brother get started in producing his own extract line in Oklahoma this year, ideally that will be enough to get a grub steak for my venture. There was hope for a rec market here this year, legislators fucked that up though. I’m determined, even if it’s just a mom and pop shop to get started. I’m ready to break into the industry. Wow, that’s really on my mind, I didn’t even mean to bring that up.
So in these pictures the first shows how the floor is graded and a Portland pan formed to send runoff to the drain. Normally I would put a pan liner and do a fully formed shower style basin, this is the only prototype I’m building into my structure. I may regret it but we shall see. I’m doing this smaller amount of prep then putting an 1/8 inch of flex seal. Essentially I’m turning it into a rubber tub floor. @$90 a gallon I’m not saving much in material cost but at my current speed it should save some time. I need that as this is taking forever. lol
The next shows the light baffles I built into the raised floor, I should have taken pictures during the build because this doesn’t really show what’s going on there. There are 440 degrees worth of turns to prevent light from getting into the fresh air plenum. Then there is separation of the air inlets such that indirect light cannot be shared between the two grow spaces. Finally a shot of how the grow areas are coming along, once I lay the rubber floor I’ll finish the door side wall and put in the exhaust controls and bring in the lights and girls.
I'm doing an ozone generator, mixing channel, to carbon filter remanded output for sterile smells off the shed. Better to not invite any would be thieves. Carbon is recharged by ozone, putting the carbon filter on the output of the ozone mixing assures thoroughly mixing of the ozone and complete treatment of output smell. This is overkill but it works great. I have grown og and chem d in residential neighborhoods with no trace using this method! I’ll take pics for reference when I put this in.

I'm digging that shed. Makes me want to build one. :hump:

I'd say good luck with your new area, but by the looks of it, you've got things dialed in just fine.

Flex seal flooring, this stuff is cool it’s kind of like a tough silicone layer. I could make the entire room a flood and drain table if I want now!
Dude that’s pretty cool. Is it a special flooring version or did you just repurpose the the normal stuff.

Ya I bought a gallon and a pint to lay in what turned out to be a little more than 1/8 inch thick coating. It’s just the regular liquid in the bucket. The stuff is neat because it self levels, binds deeply, and like a silicon layer nothing sticks to it. Of course it’s waterproof. At one time i used to grow in a bathtub in the shower that wasn’t being used, that was so handy for cleaning up and having access to water. I really wanted to try and replicate that experience in a more functional environment.
