What soil are you guys using?

He does say let it sit a month or so... but thats to let the beneficials get working.. I add Beneficials so.... its ready! Besides you DO NOT use this ALL BY ITSELF!!! just a little on the bottom of your pot... with plain soiless mix on top! add water!
you can make "Tea" with myco and let it brew for a few days then moisten the super soil then its ready to go! THROW YOUR PH METER AWAY! i dont ph my water AT ALL just let it brew for a day or so and water! little bit of molasses benies and water bubble the water and feed!
 
im using canna COCO Cogr Slabs with the canna cogr line of nutes and i have to say im pretty impressed with the results that i am having. i swithched from soil and seen a tremendous difference in growth. the nice thing about coco is that you cant overwater it
 
I love Coco. Just make sure you supplement with more CalMag or it's going to pull it from your plants. Also, is it true that for the Super Soil, you have to let it sit for 30 days, not only for the beneficials, but moreso for the Dolomite Lime? I think I read that it has to cook for 30 days because that lime is what pH balances your soil throughout and it takes at least 30 days to accomplish this. Confirmation would be awesome! But when I move into my new house, I'm going to use this Super Soil. More plants and less work.. win/win!
 
i grow in pretty big pots 2-3 gals its usually a month before the plants get to the SS. if you read his posts SS goes at the bottom of the pots. you could plant in small 6" pots while the soil brews and transplant into SS...
i only make 10Gals @ a time... it lasts for quite some time! i also use Roots 7-0-7 as a BASE
 
I use Fox Farms Ocean Forest as many others have stated mixed with perlite.. 70% FF OF to 30% Perlite... I get the fox farms from local nursery, about $20 for the big bag.. and just use regular Miracle Gro Perlite from Wal Mart, $3.88 a bag.
 
I avoid Miracle Grow anything, including perlite, if for no other reason that I hate how they have been allowed to throttle the market in the big box stores. I buy Baccto soil from on local nursery and Fert-i-lome perlite from another nursery.

I would skip the perlite and use the LIGHT WARRIOR because of the beneficials.... DO NOT USE MIRACLE GROW ANTHING>>>!!!!
 
HAPPY FROG/ Roots CoCo fiber mix!
3 bags happy frog mixed with 4 bags of roots coco 12 cubic feet of a kick ass mix

I get everything i need from stop n grow in cali
 
canna coco mix with perlite
70% coco
30%perlite
rockwool cubes work well with this mix as well
 
Pro-Mix BX... It's idiot proof! It has everything you need to go from start to finish and it takes well to whatever amendments you may want to add.
