What size light would be efficient to veg 4-6 plants for 50+ days?

looking for something that is efficient, but will still get the job done to veg 4-6 plants for 60 days while other plants will be flowering under 600hps. Trying to get a good perpetual grow with nice yields and i figure if Im vegging some nice clones for that amount of time, they should yield good.


So far Im thinking of the 4 bulb t5, but I'm not sure if that is enough for 6 plants for that amount of time. If anyone has any better ideas let me know.
 
at first most of these lights will be good till the last 20 to 30 days. that many plants and time length needs a powerful light. if you have the money buy a digital dimmable 600 or 1000 watt with a MH bulb.

plus with a 600 for flowering after that long of veg and plant number it just wont do. 1 600gets 4 flower plants good that have vegged for 30 days. if you want tech a 3ft by 3ft area lite real well possible to cover a 4ft by 4ft not as good per 600 watt light.
 
i only have about 5" clearance for veg and dont think any light with a hood would work that great. Will a 8 bulb 4ft t5 hold up to the 400w MH?
