Private person that lives outta town is the best choice. Remember if u pick an apt. Use lots of carbon scrubbers and be careful of your noise levels.

try to rent from a privet person, the beast case would be a some one that live out of state and has a management company handle the renting of the proprety. my old hose was this way and the only time we saw the owner/mangt was when we told them we were not resigning our lease.

pay your rent on time and you will never see them

His best case scenerio is the way to go, right on the money.

Might call a managment company and ask them if they have any rentals where the owner lives out of state because last time you got a landlord that popped in everyday and you like your privacy and this is what was recommended to you, see what kind of response you get before moving on to the next call.

Apartments are a bad idea, they will come in to change the air filter. recently a guy in my town was busted after water was running out of his townhouse while he was away. He will probably get 2 years.

Although, the BEST scenario would be to rent from an individual that lives out of town, my small set up barely smelled and there is hardly any noise at all. (Ok, I did use some pine sol to cover some smell. Not that I had to, I live in a house, but just to see how it would do if I did have company.)

I have a tent 2x4 set up in spare bedroom that I keep closed. (with 3 (4)in fans and 1 (6)in exhaust. I would suspect that neighbors below or above, if I had them, would never even know!

i did a nice size grow in an apartment, if is a newly built one tey have all sorts of regulations regarding soundproofing. i had 2400w running with a ridiculous amount of fans and it was fine. the only time i could see it being a problem is if you were running lots of pumps/dwc etc if your growing in soil the noise levels should be minimal. also if you are surrounded by other apartments then your heat signature should be masked a bit as the heat signal cam's can only pick up what is on outside wall.
