What should I make with this rump roast?

Anything easy and fast? I'm kind of hungry and it's sitting in the fridge. Cooked it last night.

I got some ideas from the internet and soon when I get hungry enough I will endeavor into the glorious kitchen and make something that will satisfy my hunger and hopefully my taste buds.

:blsmoke:

Can I just fry some onions in butter and then put some pieces of this roast on there or something? Then make a sandwich? That sounds good.

lol, rump roast sandwich, i don't see why not. why didn't u make a pot roast? then u would have potatoes, & carrots and what not

I don't know how to make one and I didn't make it, I just looked up how to make it in the oven. It was originally going to be chicken fried steak but I couldn't find a meat tenderizer (bummer, I know)

Yah, Fry some onions and Yukon Gold potatoes (boiled, sliced) in butter. Then at the last minute put in some Julienned roast beef (so it gets warm but not twice-cooked). Add proper Bavarian mustard and a good bit of garlic mayo ... pinch of parsley and marjoram ... excuse me; I'm off to the kitchen ... cn

That sounds really tasty. I hope I have some onions. I guess I'll try to slice this meat as thin as I can. I don't have any Bavarian mustard or garlic mayo but those sound like things I should pick up.

This is the *best* mustard ever! It's east Austrian and fairly sweet. It is the absolute bomb with pork and deli and stuff. I get mine at austriangrocery. com since my folks stopped visiting Vienna.
Garlic mustard: "top tip" make your own. making mayo is fun, and if you use good eggs and fresh corn oil ... the result is wonderful. cn

You could also shred the meat, and some bbq, chipotle, hot sauce, heat upsome tortilla and have some tacos or what not.Or a sammich with horse radish and swiss.Dont over cook the meat tho.Shit even make a french dip.

man bro the onion and potatoe idea sounds good..... anytime i eat roast its in a sandwich, i used to add steaksauce to it every once in awhile...... we usually season it with ROAST RUB SAVORY seasoning along with mckormics french onion pepper and herb, makes a good lil kick...... my girl though she made a roast for thankgiving that had all these seasonings n powders that i thought had to much but the taste was so f'n blissingly good that i slapped my stepson..... lol j'k.... but it was good............. but the roast rub and the mckormics herb blend is damn good.......... but i say u got a winner with the potatoes and onions on it..... i always sanwich mines,

I just got back from eating. I sauteed some onions and a little potatoes in butter and then put the roast sliced as thin as I could get it and cooked both sides for about a minute or so on each side.

Then I put the meat on two pieces of bread and put horseradish sauce all over it. Actually reminded me of a not so bad Beef on Weck. The meat could have been better quality, but it tasted good. Thanks all. :D

im hungry now... lol, think ima buy some roast later.. thankz jblaze

I'm usually pretty hungry when I'm perusing here. I figure cannabis and food go so well together sometimes I have to ask advice for recipes on here from people who know good ways of cooking things and stuff.
