indoor/outdoor

How big an area are you dealing with, and what are you growing.

have you started flowering, setting fruit, or harvesting?

did you see a shitload of grasshoppers, or just found nibbled plants?

do these pants make my butt look fat?

For outdoor I use spinosad pellets in the soil and I spray the plants with neem oil to prevent powdery mildew

Permethrin. As a contact spray.
It has depleted my leafhopper issues to near nil. Which was a major problem.

Now noticing the grasshoppers and ticks are gone too.

Give it a try.

Used a Hudson atomizer. Cuts my consumption of spray 50% over my bckpack sprayer.

in emergencies i use doktor doom for imediate relief. use it to wipe out initial infestation, then every two to three days after to catch those that hatch, do that for a week. other wise i try to stick with safer brand products and zero tolerance. i try to use stuff that wont harm the beneficial insects in the area. you can try NoLo bait, dont know if they still sell it.

also found this:
"put severl pieces of duct tape(sticky side up) in the area where they are annoying u because grass hoppers are attracted to the glue on the tape another way is to pretty much make a 3 inch diameter hole in a loaf of bread moisten the inside of it a little (use a spray bottle if u have one) and put a few of em around the area where they are annoying u and soon u will find alot of em in the bread then u can do watever u want with them try using them as bait for fishing."
